About International Jazz Day: Thomas Gould and the John Turville Trio
A night to remember with four extraordinary musicians of international acclaim, as violinist Thomas Gould joins the John Turville Trio (John Turville, Chris Hill, Jay Davis) for a concert of jazz, improvisation and brand-new works. Explore the boundaries between genres and the connections that link Bach and Corelli to today’s jazz stage. The evening will culminate in a performance featuring a string ensemble from the school with music by Tim Garland.
Tickets for this concert are also valid for events taking place here earlier in the day as part of our celebration of International Jazz Day. Tickets for this concert will give access to workshops from 1.15-5.30pm.
